Woodland circles for shamanic dreaming and healing
I run gatherings in a beautiful woodland just north of London in a town called Essendon.
Shamanic Dreaming Circle
This is held in the evening (usually a Friday). A ceremonial space is created around a fire and the circle is held with drumming and sound. This circle offers the chance to learn and develop our own shamanic dreaming practice as it connects us to our own dreamscape where we can meet with spirit animals, our ancestors and other guides who may have teachings to offer us.
You do not have to have any experience of shamanic dreaming prior to attending. The circle supports those who are just beginning to explore shamanic practice and those who are familiar and practiced with these ways.
Drumming Circle
This is a circle welcoming all those who wish to sit around a fire with others and drum. This practice can be incredibly energising, connecting, grounding and healing. It is a wonderful way to spend time in a group. The drum becomes a heartbeat that expands our awareness and allows us to connect more deeply to ourselves, each other and the nature that surrounds us.
During this ceremony there is an invitation to bring offerings to the ceremony as an act of deepening our relationship and reciprocity with all that is sacred and teaches us.
Maternal Legacies
Many wounds and un witnessed stories pass down the generations and continue to be carried by the future mothers and children of a family. This circle aims to offer a supportive space where mothers can come together to share the highs and the lows of motherhood.
Shamanic ritual and dreaming practices are also worked with to facilitate meaning making of the highs and lows, finding wisdom and offering healing in the ancestral lineage to support the integration and healing of wounded inherited legacies of motherhood.
